"the top of the cleaner was tight but still made rattling sound"
Sounds like one possibility might be worn/broken air cleaner mounts. The rubber separated from the metal on mine and it took a while to figure out. Thought it might be the motor mounts-but no-just the three 10mm nuts which hold the rubber mounts. They are accessed on the inside of the air cleaner housing. I rigged mine with spare parts I had, but don't think new ones are expensive. |
