Euro 4 speed on Craigslist (SF Bay)
Sorry this should be in the craigslist thread but this car looks like a pretty killer deal. 77 euro diesel 4 speed. The listing doesn't say if it is a 4 or 5 cylinder but it is a euro with euro bumpers. Paint looks tired but a little sanding and polishing can do some amazing stuff. Someone ought to jump on this fast. $750

I hope someone gambles on it and tries to save it rather than part it out.
But if its not been started for 6 years that could be a bad thing!! If it's a 300 especially, it would be a cool one with the manual. It has the US DOT headlights but euro bumpers and badge delete option on the trunk.

Looks like with a little work it could be a neat car. For under $2000 you could have a good running turbo 4 speed in a euro body. I got my 79 300d 4 speed for $100 less and this could probably be had for about the same price, just mine was running but I have a little bit of rust

Could be a very sweet deal. I'll bet that paint will buff out to reveal a stunning bright yellow
![]() It has the black strip under the taillights as in a US 240D, but I'm not sure that holds true as a 249D indicator for euros. Anybody know?

ALL euro diesels have the black strips under the tail lights, even the 300s. I'm suprised that car is still there. I'd love to see that paint buffed out... I like yellow cars.
