What do numbers on temp sender mean ?

I have two temp sending units for my 300D.
Exact same part number and markings like 120C.

But on one of the hex flats is the number 9.79
the other sender has 6.81.

Anybody know what this means ?

My guage runs warmer than I am used to and I suspect that the engine is not overheating.

The 6.81 marked sender is from my donor car, the 9.79 is from the original
car and dash that I am using.

Do these senders have OHM ratings ? Even though the part number matches ?
