EDIT:
I got it out after turning it and hitting it with a hammer a few times, and removed the wire and the little thing the key goes into. Both seem to be going bad Where would I get a new assembly that will match my key?
Fastlane (click the "buy parts" link at the top of the page) will have a new steering lock and a new tumbler, but the key will not match the rest of the car. If you want a matched key give your local MB parts department a call, show them your driver's license and registration and about $80.

I fixed it the cheap way, drill a hole where the steering lock pin comes out, and break the drill bit in it, so the pin can never get out. Now I can tun the key easily, I don't think I really need the steering lock anyway...

So, let me get this right...your gonna drive around with a steering lock that can activate at anytime the drill drops out ?

Let me know where you live.....so I can avoid passing you.

It can't drop out while the car is on, since the internal thing retracts it anyway when the key is turned. The drill bit only keeps it from coming out when the key is in the off position so I don't have to remove the steering wheel, gauges, and risk breaking my dash in the school parking lot in order to start the car. I'm pretty sure the tube in the steering assembly that the lock is inserted into holds the bit in anyway, and its soldered into the hole as well.
