O ring Thread
I just called the local dealer today and ordered an O ring for the oil drain tube from the air filter to the oil pan on my 300 Turbo. I Think it's time this forum had an O ring thread covering everything that comes along. When someone get's RAPED for $4.75 American for an Oring it's time!
![]() These cars live on O rings. I got my last oil filter shaft rings from OSH for $ .50. I'll post the size when I get my head straight, if I have enough money left for a beer ![]()

The oil drain tube (upper and lower) o-ring is the same size as the one on the oil dip stick.
There are some things I miss about CA. OSH is one of them. |

Regret to report that OSH has been acquired by Sears and Sawbuck (as my grandpa called them). No ill effects so far and they carry Craftsperson tools now.
An o-ring thread with all of them listed is a great idea, FineOlBenz (why don't you do that). I just paid the dealer $2.50 each for the oil filter shaft o-rings so I'm with you all the way. Be sure to include the size and the factory part number in your list, please. ![]() The oil filter shaft o-rings are 015 997 94 48. My '85 doesn't have a copper crush washer on the secondary fuel filter bolt, only two o-rings (19x14x2.5mm and 15x11x2mm). Am I missing something? Jeremy
