Interior light stays on
Hi,
I went out to my car just now and discovered that the rear interior light stayed on all night long. Can anybody tell me how to turn this thing off. I guess I'll just remove the bulb for now? These batteries can really hang in there. The car started with no problem. Thanks. |

There should be a switch on the dash to turn that light on/off. The light is also activated by the rear door switches. If one of them is broken, it might be keeping the light on all of the time. The third possibility is a frayed wire that's creating an unwanted ground.

I'll pop the bulb back in and look for a switch.
I'll fiddle with the rear door autoswitches if that didn't solve it. Thank you. |

Tada
Well, I found the switch.
I guess I must have accidentally flipped it somehow? Thanks again for the thorough diagnosis. I used to have a radio show, down here in the Keys. Do you happen to play guitar? This storm is a real wimp. |
