While you are at it. I discovered that if you remove the windshield (anyways most of these cars could really use the seal replacement!!!) the dash is so easy to remove it is not even funny.
In junk yards were most of the windshield are already broken anyways, it is a worth while steps that will save you a struggle. with the windshield removed it is a 20-40 minutes job (both A-pillar covers, foot-wells trims, glove box, speakers, if so equipped the temperature sensor, and 8 bolts...the only hard thing are those 2 tiny wicked 6 or 7mm nuts that hold the dash behind the speakers.

In the case of the 114/115 chassis the recommended way to remove the dash is to remove the windshield forst, o/w you have to bend the dash to get it into the available space, and an old dash is likely to crack for sure if you bend it. With the windshield out you put it in that sideways thru the opening and it is easier (but no cakewalk!)
