Question 1990 350sdl

I have a 1990 350sdl. Recently my oil cooler hose went. Has anyone else had this problem. What have you done to correct it. I talked with someone who said you could get one made for around $50.00. I dont know how well this would work. I also checked Adsit and i could buy a new one for around 375.00. Any suggestions you have would be great

Yes they are old, they should be replaced about every 10 years. After 10 years I do not trust a hose.

When they started leaking on the SDL I bought new ones. If they actualy blow replacing them will be the cheap part.

I have seen tractor service departments make up all sorts of hoses ... what is so special about this one that makes it $400 plus?
