LOL!!! Now THAT's funny!

Mothballs or sulfer (used to make sulfer candles you could burn), but whats worse a snake or smelling the cure weeks later?. Don't kill it! Black snakes keep the poisonous snakes away.

Sounds crazy, but it works. Buy a mouse at the pet store. Loosely tie some twine around it's neck. In the heat of the day, tease the snake out enough to where you can get a good look at him. Determine if he is poisonous or not. I'm betting he's not. Then man up and grab him. But please, whatever you do, get video of this cause we have got to see it.

Mouse on a rope... this might be better than my post.
I've been waiting to see what else you all came up with.

I have two in the shop...each one about 6 feet long....black snakes.
I used to catch them like Irwin did.....but not now.
I relocate them if I need to have them somewhere else with a 4 foot PVC pipe with 1/2 inch id.

Snake catcher.
Tie off thin rope at one end of pipe...pull rest through until out the end and leave about a 4 inch noose....tie knot big enough so it will not go back in pipe and so you can pull on it..

Loop the rope over neck of snake and pull noose snug around it's neck.

Take snake into nearby field and release....I have done this dozens of times...they still eventually come back in.....this has been going on for 15 years.

Strange thing is....they have never attacked the noose as it goes over their head....of course, this changes once the noose tightens....can be fun trying to pull them out of the area they have got in to.

Don't kill them...they catch field mice and rats.
My dog has got used to them too.....he used to try to dig them out...it was like watching a mongoose, he'd jump back 3 feet if they struck out.

Hmm. I've got a cat that likes to torture smaller snakes. Shall I throw her in the trunk and see who wins in the morning?

Don't worry, I'd rather not kill the thing; I left it in there all this time because it does far less damage than the mice chewing on my seats.

Video. Hmm. I tried to get a still shot for you, but it was back in its den. How do you propose I hold the camera in one hand while wrangling the thing with the other as it lunges at me? One snake hunter's death caught on tape is enough for one week!

This is a funnier thread than the guy trying to sell the Beanie Babies on E-Bay.

those are two of my nicest snakes, a ghost cornsnake and an albino nelsons. Sadly, as I am in college, I have to sell them. I put the checkboxes in to give buyers an idea how big they are.
