My Trans starts in 2nd. I want to start in 1st
Hi all,
I've got 3 190d's and 2 start in 2nd and one starts in 1st. I would like to have them all start in first gear. The '84 starts in first. They have behaved this way since I purchased them. It is my belief, though I don’t have the records, that the '84 has a rebuilt transmission. Anyway, is there any way to get my transmission to start in first gear? Tune the vacuum lines or adjust the cable? I search the forum but could not find any definitive answers. Thanks for your help!

Bump for an interesting question... I'd like to see the answer to this, too!
