Seattle area W126 front suspension rebuild
Hey guys,
I am getting ready to rebuild the front susp on my '84 300SD, and I was wondering if anyone in the greater Seattle area has some of the specialized tools needed for the job (ie: spring compressor, ball joint press, etc) that they would be willing to let me rent or borrow. I am south of Tacoma in DuPont. Also, for those that have done it, what is the biggest pain of the job? Thanks Brian

Watch out for the type spring compressor:

You might be able to rent or borrow these tools in your area with an adaquate deposit. I am thinking dealer or independent mercedes shop. There is a tool loaner program on site you might want to investigate.
