Just wondering if someone here would be so generous as to point me in the right direction to find the ARV on my '91 350SD so I can disable it. Photos would be great, but even just directions to help me accurately locate it would be extremely helpful!
I have BB's and golf tees - whichever works best, just tell me where to stick them! In the car, of course... ![]() The EGR is already off thanks to Brian's kit; now I want to make sure the ARV is also disabled. ![]() Thanks for all the helpful info everybody! |

It's right on the face of the turbo above the air inlet. Right side of the engine.

Was there a conclusion on whether the 350 has an ARV? I just wanted to confirm before I start searching for it - to kill it, of course. Thanks.

I purchased a supposedly "rebuilt" '91 603.97 turbo from ebay, and it didn't have an ARV. I was under the impression that they had discontinued their use in the .97 series.
