Arrow gas to diesel conversion

I am looking at taking a 1998-1999 e300 ,e320 or a s320 gas car and replacing its engin with a e300 six cylinder turbo diesel engin . Is there any one out there has seen such thing done and if there are any problems?? are there any issues with the transmission?thanks

ive heard people wanting to convert gas W124's not something that new....if you use a 603 not that many computers have to go on it.. but the splicing of two wiring harnesses together is always a fun thing to do
