congratulations, always a relief to make a long trip without any 'pit stops'.

I regularly make 300+ mile trips without a second thought, mainly because of my insane maintenance level on my car. If something is iffy, or I am paranoid about it, it gets replaced. It has probably cost me excessive amounts of money....but I can also claim I've never once been at the side of the road, or experienced an issue....well, just once, I had a fuse go out. Replaced it when I got home 20 mins later, fine ever since. I've driven 14k since last November. About 10-11k of that was freeway @75-85mph.

Vacation

A monthago I drove the 300TD wagon 3100 miles round trip to Canada and back.

No issues - I just want to badly replace the driver's door seal now...
