I'm not sure? Hopefully BB will tell us.
Checking/replacing all the vac hoses and cleaning/inspecting all the electrical wires and connections is really important on these EDS OBD_I systems. If the EDS control unit can't get a good signal from a componet, it's going to a default setting and dump boost ![]() Quote:

![]() Code 3 may not have been primary offender, but the sensor was not giving proper signal the EDS CM ,(due to poor idle and ELS conflict, I'm guessing) so it tripped the code. Unfortunitly, this early system OBD I is not as specifically diagnostic as OBD II. So it takes more trouble shooting to pinpoint actual offenders. ![]() [QUOTE=pdrayton;1533545] The 3 code I got this weekend was total BS from the eDS computer. So, yes, don't always believe it. My EDS 3 code (air sensor) was acutally becuase I had the engine stop vacuum valve in wrong and it was killing the throttle. What that has to do with the air sensor I don't know. [QUOTE]
