I wonder if there is ANY differance between Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 and Mobile Delvac 1 5W-40 other than the bottle. The specs look the same.

The opinion here seems to be that they are the same with different packaging. I agree that the specs look the same and they both have very good diesel specs. I use the M1 Turbo Diesel Truck, but some folks here use the D1.

That's a different product all together. I've never seen it - - can it be purchased in the USA at this time??

The API specs and the Euro oil specs are generally mutually exclusive. They can meet OE Benz specs or they can meet API (OTR) specs...they can't meet both due to the higher additization levels found in the truck oils.

Those oils are identical...there's a statement on Mobil's website stating such.

I've noticed many GMC dealers still have this oil even though most have been unable to find it for nearly 1 year. The new product, labeled TDT, is just becoming available in some regions.

The 5W40 ESP oil was available at my local MB dealer a couple of weeks ago. I assume that's the only place it's available.

Mobil says "...Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 and Mobil Delvac 1 5W-40 are the same product branded differently for different markets."
