If they put the twinturbo in as an option I'm all for it. if they bring another 15 MPG truck to the market then I will say a prayer for the American automobile industry, It will prove they are shortsighted and deserve to lose to our offshore competitors and we deserve to be a nation of service providers unable to produce anything. We can import Chicom made cars and trucks of all sorts and rebadge them. Now, where do we find someone who'll be able to afford them?

I'd prefer if they went with a VGT turbo. The only reason they go with TT is it's cheaper to manufacture and buy control electronics.

Fault Of Research & Development
For Other Retarded Drivers Saw the ad on TV from the retired autoworkers, claiming GM, Ford, and Dodge are driving America, buy hiring Americans. That's all well and good, but how about quality? People buy cars that will not leave them stranded, or spend more time in the service bay than in thier garage. My GM vehicle were more reliable then my Ford vehicles, but my Japanese and German vehicles have out lasted all of my American made ones. Here's the kicker...my last GM car was an '88 Olds Calais 2 door International series. Sweet car, but it's alloy wheels, radio and other electronics were made in Japan. The aluminum engine accessory brackets were made in Mexico. How is that a true American car? The American Car industry IMHO cannot claim they are made in America with out sourced parts and assemblies.
