Plenty of heat at low speeds, 'luke warm' at best on the highway
My problem is as it says in the title. Heat at low speeds, no real heat at high speeds.
Now, last week I took out the auxiliary fan (which sits in front of the AC condensor and radiator) cause it was busted, and there is nothing there right now. Could the air at 60mph be cooling the radiator too well? Thoughts? Patrick

When my '84 300D did this it was the monovalve. Easy to fix. Do a search, plenty of info on this. RT

mine does this to, def the mono valve, just been to busy to rebuilt it. when my heat cools off, i turn the car off and to the start position a couple times, until the heat starts blowing really hot then it is usually fine. until next time it cools down. ive learned to live with it for now
