Craig, This is first try on uploading pic. notice the orange tint in upper end of filter? looks like rust. I recently drained tank, pressure washed and replaced screen. Old one looked like tar. All of a sudden this stuff started coming thru fuel line. Guess I'll just keep changing pre-filters till it stops Bubbazook2

It's hard to tell from the photo, buy it doesn't look too bad yet. At the moment, mine looks worse. You can probably wait until it collects more junk. You can also just try blowing the junk out of it an putting it back a couple of times before you replace it. If it really becomes clogged, you will notice a loss of power.

Hi Craig, I've had loss of power problems before I did all the maintenance on tank, etc. especialley on pull out. but running great now. just bugs me about the filter though. Thanks to all you fellow members for your replies. Good scoop bubbazook2

I wouldn't worry about it too much, that's what the filter is for.
