When you do your 0-60 test, do you use the kickdown?
I want to test my 124 against the standard (10-12 seconds 0-60). When doing this should I use the kickdown from the start or just hold the pedal against the kickdown switch? Right now, in downtown Norfolk, I am getting to 45 mph in less than 8 seconds. The local police frown on doing 60 in a 35
. I guess I'll have to wait till I can get out of town to try the 0-60 test. If it is floored down to the switch, from a dead stop, won't it shift the same as if the switch were depressed? I thought the kickdown was just to make it downshift while at cruising speed. Or will holding the kick-down on hold it to higher RPM in each gear? Just curious
