amazing vintage diesel

As a woodworker and mercedes diesel fan, this is just amazing. Truly I would rather see the car as completely stock, but still, you've got to see this vehicle. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-BENZ-190-DC-WORLDWIDE-UNIQUE-WOOD-VENEERED_W0QQitemZ130039371911QQihZ003QQcategoryZ6328QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

COOL! Variety is the spice of life, but this opinion is coming from a guy who painted flames on a classic BMW/2. As a woodworker myself I cant imagine how many hours it took to do. Wonder what he used to glue the veneer down with?

Figured I was getting ready to click on a 50's 220 Ponton or a 300 Adenauer, but it is a fintail with no wood on the inside. Go figure. I would never want it, but obviously someone does.

Jesus, you can definitely appreciate the time that went into that monster. I also thought it was pretty funny that the interior had no wood trim

A Question.....

G'mornin' Folks,

I wonder what the Arabic writing along the sides says???

From the look if the car and the floor rugs, I imagine that the person who did the wood work was an Muslim from one of the Middle Eastern countries.

In todays very complicated world, it would not surprise me if it said something like..... " Up yours Infidels" or "Osama is the man"....that's about as politically correct as I can get.....but you folks can see where I'm coming from......

I have been identified as a "non-believer and infidel" on my shore pass paperwork in several countries.....notably Kuwait and Morocco.....at least those countries gave an English translation with their shore pass/temporary visas......

Just an honest comment.......please don't delete this for political content!!!
