Thumbs up Group Purchase of Vogtland Springs, W123........NEED INTERESTED MEMBERS!!!

In the dead end search for 123 performance springs, put in a call to Vogtland NorthAmerica to look into options for a small scale run.
Evidently, there has been some demand for them, and they would be willing to resume some limited production.

The magic number is 25, but with 10+ they would be very interested in "further market research".. the bottom line $280-$300 a set.
A German-made, moderately lowering (.5-1"), progressive rate spring, with an unparalled reputation. Any takers?

Wagon springs.

W123 sedan? Put the springs from a W123 wagon in the back, with Bilstein HD's. You won't believe the difference.

Jay.

Set of 4? I need new springs anyway. I might be interested.

I'd like to know more about the wagon option as I have a set sitting in the shop...that was one of my first thoughts....

I put in Ventra 45mm drop springs all around and bought new old stock wagon springs...they are just collecting dust...

more info please...

I'd be interested, very much so! 0.5 to 1 inch is very conservative for those worrying about how to align it after installing them.

Warranty?

One question I did not see asked is whether there is some type of warranty the will come alog with the purchase. WIll it require a shop to do the work? Most of us like to do our own... plus anyone else doing it will add to the cost..

Also, does that price include shipping? If its coming from Germany, shipping may cost more than the price of the springs

Generally speaking, with performance products such as these, only manufacturing defect is warrantied due to the high liability involved in with use. In addition, installation should only be performed by competant individuals being knowledgable to perform such work.

Think it is assumed that most of us will be doing our own work, and professional install does not affect the warranty.. keeping in mind that there is little warranty inherent with springs unless there is catastrophic failure unassociated with use. Much like you void a tires' warranty when you curb it. Of note is that this is the same manufacturer that produces full race springs for NASCAR. Think they should make the grade for our 123 Diesels.

The springs will be produced in Germany, and then shipped to Vogtland NorthAmerica in California.
I believe shipping is included, but I will definitely get a solid answer on that as well. Good questions, thanks.

Shipping to Can.?

I am interested in a set, although I am concerned what my final cost with shipping (to Canada) will turn into.

thinking shipping from southern cali to the northcountry would be reasonably near the same.. but you might know better.

cool... ill have the money for them by then... hopefully it will lower to my liking... ill put the thin spring pads in too... wonder how much it will cost the shop to install since i dont want to mess with springs... dropping the rear subframe is easy but the fronts scare me
