Thanks for the info.

The reason I need to know is that I need to cut high pressure line in order to remove the valve and rebuild it. The high pressure line is siezed in the valve body. I will use a compression fitting to re-connect the lines (very easy) rather than try to flare them (more difficult). I located a special metric compression fitting for 6mm lines rated for 9,000 psi.

Once I cut this line, I must be able to re-assemble it with 100% confidence that it will work! I don't want to screw around with flare tools, trying to flare one end while still on the car (some flare tools can only be bench operated). I dont want to buy an expensive flare tool, and dont want to buy a cheap one and find that it doesnt work well. etc......

Anyway, this compression fitting will do the job on the high pressure line with a safe rating up to 9,000 psi and a test failure threshold of more than double that.

Thanks,

Mark
