One can buy SVO for around $2.80 per gallon at Costco. That is what I am going to do if it hits over $2.80/ gallon in MO.

I wouldn't run it straight. Probably would blend it 40% SVO. Diesel $$ has a long way to climb before that becomes cost effective. Maybe if Diesel hits $3.75 - $4.00.

Dropped from $2.47 to $2.39 just in time for me to fill up today. Pretty happy about that.

Diesel fell about 2-3 cents around here in the past week, not much change, Gas has also stayed about the same. I did see RUG for 2.14 somewhere today though! Thats sure cheaper than the 2.64 average for diesel!
I actually found about 1/3 gallon of RUG in the garage in a container from my SVO experiments this past summer today, poured it in my tank, free fuel!

I ran a mix of about 10 gallons of Clear Fry oil, (soy), 4 gallons of diesel, and a couple gallons of RUG this summer. Started instantly when cranked over cold (faster than on diesel even!! ) And idled so quiet I couldn't even tell it was running at idle. Very cool. And, my fuel filters that were on the car at the time (6 months and 11k ago) are still on there working fine, so it didn't even clog the filters. I was able to get a 36lb 4.6 gallon cubie for about $12.80, so about $3.02 a gallon....less mpg's on the mix though, so I went back to diesel. Got more power by doing so too....
