Is diesel fuel still liquid at those temps? I'd suggest get yourself a water auxiliary heater from Eberspaecher (Espar) or Webasto. They're quite expensive, though.

Well guys sorry for not following up it's been hell with the move and such. The only problem i have had so far was when i started it last night to go buy a new wireless router and cable modem. It took about 40 secs total starter time and 6 glow cycles. I spoke with the owner of the complex today and told him that if my car wont start saturday morning when i need it the most he will have hell to pay. So here is what he's going to do. He is going to have a Diesel Parking Area next week. All diesels park in this area and they will have enough plugs for everybody. But the catch is it's an extra 15.00 a month on the rent bill. I dont have a problem with that.

(the reason why he will have hell to pay is i teach disabled kids how to ski over at Winter Park).

Thumbs up

Keep it plugged in ALL night, make them wish they didn't charge you $15.

Get an electric battery wrap too! Your battery looses most of its power by the time it gets to 0 degrees F. You can buy them at AutoZone cheap.

if the temp dips below 5F i will be pulling the battery regradless. I found out that there is another 190d in the parking lot here. And she pulls the battery when ever it get's below 5f. She has a small gen built into the back of car that will auto start if the car is turned off and will power the block heater. I will try and get some pics sometime. Her's is a 1985 with a 5 speed stick.
