Up Hill Starts
I have a problem with my 1975 300D. IT starts fine (except) when parked on any kind of a up hill incline. If I leave set it for 15 minutes or so when I try to start it starts very hard. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You Don L

My guess would be a slight air leak in fuel system, allowing fuel to drain back towards tank....

Yep and the usual culprit is porous fabric covered return line hoses between the injectors. Also check the IP priming pump, if it's the old style you might get lucky just tightening the plunger.
