WOW!! so i did a valva adjustment like amonth ago and changed all the filters, and i felt that my 240D could still beat it. but today i decided to adjust the alda. So i adjusted it, and now its so much faster. Also the trans shifts ALOT better. before it was jerky, now its really really smooth!! i still dont see black smoke, so i turned it up a it more, and am going to try it out in a little bit. But wow what a difference it made!

i had to break it off. it looks like it was ment to be on thier for good or somthing, cause i tride to pri-up on it and use needle nose. bt eventully after getting frustraghted, i just bent it and cut it off with metal shears.

just got home. yea car is 100% smoother. i dont know if this makes sense, but someone tell me. so i adjusted the alda. Now no more "rough" starts were the engine is cold, and i start it, it runs rough and then stalls. now it just starts and runs awsome. ALOT!!! more power!! and also the trans shifts so much smoother. its like smooth as silk when before i had to floor it all the time, and i had rather hard shifts.....

can a simple alda adjustment do this????

I don't see how ALDA setting would have any effect on starting, whether it be hold or cold.
