Good Purchase for My E300 for Winter

These were delivered today and except for a touch of curb rash on one wheel they look brand new. The tires have a lot of life left as well. It was a very good buy.

are these the same that came on your car? or are they an improvement?
nice set of tires, how bad is the "rash"? do you know if your lugs will work with the wheels? if not, will the seller give you lugs too?

Same wheel size, but differnet style. The rash is very shallow and the two spots total less than five inches. I even got the lugs.

That's a great deal. Do you plan on leaving them on all winter?

I considered buing a set for my E300, but the Chicago weather is so goofy that I figuired I would wear them out PDQ. We had 10" of snow one day, then a week later it was 55 degrees.

Nice score for $280! The eight holes look good on the W210 as well, I was never a fan of the bottle cap style.

Since it does not take long to swap wheels I told my wife that I would put them on when there is actually snow in the forecast. I don't want to waste the tread on rain and the tires that are on it now (Kuhmo summer performace) perform weel in the rain.

Nice wheels! I'd love to put 16's on my 85 300d. I wonder what a set of those would look like on my car?

Great looking 8 hole wheels. I think they were used on the newer E320s! I am surprised the guy used them for winter tires..they are way to nice! Nobody will know how good they look when they are encrusted with Ohio road salt and slush. I just run my snows mounted on steel rims....it gives my 98 E300TD kind of an industrial look...but who cares as long as they get me around New England in the winter safely......
Great Purchase! Have a Great Holiday!
Cheers
