ULSD Question

I've been beginning to notice... as more stations here go ULSD that my overall engine sound is beginning to get quieter. I filled my tank yesterday, with all ULSD, and the engine had less clacking, and the general sound of the engine became duller sounding in a pleasant positive way....any chance it's from the ULSD? this over the span of about 2 or three weeks...

I noticed a similar effect, but only after I added some white power service to it.

Not noticed it in the car but B20 made the engine sound less harsh in the truck or so the wife says.

The only things I noticed were clogged fuel filters after a couple of weeks and leaky injector pump delivery valve seals a couple of weeks after that.

well, I've been running ULSD for a couple weeks and havn't really noticed anything negative yet, except that my pre filter is black as toby's arse, but that could be because I drive from Full to Empty all the time and fill up when the light comes on so it could be catching all the sedimentary crap in the bottom of the tank

Only difference I have seen is a slight drop in mpg.

The only thing I noticed was a bit less smoke. SDL's emissions results dropped 1 point, so it made a slight difference.

The only thing ULSD has done is just about eliminated my tailgater proximity regulating system! (smokescreen).

Mines not so ginger. It's the "Get the f*** off my a** before I check my brakes" system.
