How does one clean a banjo bolt? with a pipe cleaner and soap?

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays people!
I'm on call for work until 3 pm so not much Christmas stuff happening here except well wishing friends and family on the phone and such.
I have a little time to tackle a banjo bolt cleaning project but I've never done this before. I found a picture of the bolt from a search. Whunter put it up a couple years ago. Thanks Whunter.
I wonder if a pipe cleaner is the best way to clean the hollow bolt? Is the bolt easy to remove? I read that not to overtighten the bolt when putting it back, avoid stripping the bolt head.
If the bolt is located in a different area on a 1985 300 D then please clue me in. I think the picture whunter had is on a SD model.
Peace,
Frankie

I'm sure a pipe cleaner would clean it well. I used some carb cleaner and compressed air and blew it out, but if you use a pipe cleaner just make sure you get any fibers out before you put it back. Yes, be sure not to over-tighten it when you re-install it. There should be one on the back of the intake manifold and one on the alda body itself. The one most likely to be clogged is the one on the intake but check them both just to be sure. Good luck.

I don't have carb cleaner handy but I do have brake cleaner. Would that be OK if I rinse it well and dry it after? Q-tip? wow, I didn't think of that one, good idea.
Anyone ever use brake cleaner?

Thanks Don-
Noticed your request for a 300 D pic. Do you think that the PO messed with the tires?
