Will a DIY cleaning of the flywheel suffice?

I'm afraid that taking it in to have it resurfaced will take off too much material. Also, i'm not sure that the bolts holding it to the crank can be reused?

IMHO, if you're going to go to the effort of replacing your clutch, you may as well get the flywheel resurfaces, so that you don't have any problems. If it's never been resurfaced before, you should be fine. Be sure to note the orientation of the flywheel relative to the crank when replacing. Look for the notches.

I reused the bolts, but I've heard that you're not supposed to. I applied lock tite and used a torque wrench to avoid over tightening.
