w124 Rear end rebuild

Here's my list; should Anything else be added?

-Subframe mounts
-Dampners (Bilistein?)
-Trailing arm bushings
-Sway bar linkages
-Control arm bushing
-Thrust Arm

The car has just over 400k on it. The back end "shimmies" (for lack of a better word) Rear passenger wheel also has a camber problem (and is squeaks?)

Any reason to go for Bilstein over KYB?

Bilsteins typically last longer and usually come with a lifetime warranty. My experience in non-MBs is that ride quality with KYBs degrades much faster. Bilsteins feel as they did when new for much longer.

Ditto what Sixto said. KYB's are good for 20k, Bilstien is good for 200k.

Otherwise, get all 4 subframe mounts, all the differential mounts (two rear, and a pair for the one front bolt), all 5 trailing links on each side, and - if needed - the bushing at the bottom of the rear wheel hub/carrier, where the lower control arm attaches to the hub/carrier. I'm going to be doing a full subframe rebuild on my car, hopefully in the next couple of months. I'll be documenting the procedure, with photos, on the Bimby forum when it's done. JB did something similar and posted the saga here. If desired, you can substiture the firmer Sportline rear subframe bushings (the larger ones) in place of stock. This would also be the time to upgrade the rear sway bar, if you have any interest in that... much easier with everything apart.
