Just had glow plugs replaced by ind.repair shot and the engine bogs when cold. Checked resonance valve on intake and it's not working. Cleaned valve and worked it manually but it seems that there's no vacuum to pull valve open. I'm wondering if a vacuum hose was not put back correctly?

Well the logical question is does it work when you apply vacumn to the the hose?
If not can you tace it back to it's original location?
Also check to see if the car is producing a vacume, perhaps the pump is faulty.

Start from the vave and work your way back.

Maybe sections 14 & 80 will help...there are a lot of connections.
