Basic Door Lock Question
Here are the symptoms. It's been pretty cold...in 5-20F range. When I unlock the car at the driver's side, all other locks open except passenger door...it tries to open but won't come up all the way. Then, one time when I locked the trunk everything locked except the driver's side.
Does this likely indicate some sort of a vacuum leak? Is the vacuum system affected by the cold? Thanks.

Does it move at all? I would think cold might mean the lock lube is gummed up. Try unlocking from the passenger side a few times when its that cold out.

Yes...it "makes an effort" but won't come all the way up.

I'm guessing vac pod on the passenger side is leaking. The drivers door will not unlock with vac because there is no vac pod on that door only a vac switch.

I've seen similar behavior on my car, but if I move the passenger lock a couple of times manually, before using the automatic locks, it locks fully.
It looks like dirty joints in the lock linkages, maybe grease with dirt picked up over the years? I'm planning to open up the door panel, clean and lube all the linkages, then put it all back together and see how it works.
