OK silly question I think...should the hose build any pressure?

I think I know this, but I wanted to run it past you guys first.
I get no pressure build up on drives. the temp stays rock steady at 80C now since I flushed and refilled, but I get no pressure.
I can find no leak, I do not lose any fluid, and I have the correct G-05 coolant in there. (weird using clear coolant...I wish they had put some color in it )I am guessing the rad cap is loosing pressure, but I am not sure, I have a pressure test kit, so, I will go to town on the sucker soon.
so am I a complete idiot? there Should be pressure right?
I put the overflow tube into a G-05 Bottle and I will monitor if coolant is getting blown out the tube...
