Half working starter?
Is it possible for a starter to half stop working?
The starter on my 300D tries to turn the car (the fan turns) but seems to not have enough power to complete the process. I've replaced the battery. I've had starters completely stop working before but never this. Should I be looking for a different issue?

you may want to verify you have good charge on the battery, also verify you have a solid ground to the block of the engine. starters do fail that way, but you could also have problems with crank bearings or other problems too.

Battery has good charge and ground is good. How would I check the other?
