Oh good, a new problem. Blower fan squeal W124

I know how to replace a blower fan, but mine is working, just starting to squeal a bit. Probably just needs a drop of oil on it. Does anyone know of an easy way to access the fan area, rather than ripping 1/2 the car apart? I'm tempted to drill a hole in there, then patch it back up when done; it's just plastic.

Thanks,
