hi there im new to this forum and i need help with a car im looking to buy. i went to tedt drive the car lastnight its a six year old e320cdi auto when i first got in the car and drove away it only got up into third gear (i think) on quite a long road and the revs were quite high. after about three miles i pulled over switched the car off and re-started it and everything was fine. the car has covered 56000 miles it has had one owner and full merc history. is it ok ? many thanks for any help you can give me.

Check your fluid level. If the fluid has never been changed before, now is the perfect excuse to get new fluid and filter..
