I don't see anything wrong with that oil pan! Of course the contents seem to be in the wrong locations. That was the problem, there were just too many parts in there.

Pffft... that's got nothing on the pan from my '72 Spitfire. It had a hole and everything!

This came from the original engine in my 80, block of course had the hole with matching hole in the aluminum pan, #1 let go.

Cool! Your collection is WAY more impressive! I dig the way the piston (was that the piston?!?) turned into a pile of corn flakes! Heck, the oil pump in mine was untouched and the thing still ran (not that it is worth anything).

A lil JB weld and some time and you should have new parts . Great puzzle to occupy yourself while in bed with the flu or some such.
