actually this is not technically correct though it is for most practical purposes correct.

generally they don't warp til they are too thin to turn.

i have never read anywhere though that you cannot turn them if they are thick enough.

I was told that no matter what to never have the rotors turned.. I figured it would cause them to warp... Learning everyday

I would never turn mb rotors.
it's not that they would warp, due to the turning thinning the rotor too much, it's the crude process that the turning machine uses to scrape off the surface that in my opinion damages the thin rotors from MB.
heck, un turned rotors get thin enough from simple brake erosion. why speed up the process?
