Reason for being under a tarp? Parked in someone else's back yard?

A tarp partially protected it from the pine trees it was parked below.....I have recently completed a move from MA to VT and have just recently rescued my '85 300D from the back yard of a friend....

Indeed.....I am trying to re-learn everything that I've forgotten. One thing that I never forgot was that this place is a great resource. I hope to cobble togteher a few minutes here and there to make some progress....Came home from a weekend away to a power outage and big tree accross my driveway....Lucky for me it was pine and a little headlight/lantern illuminated chainsaw work quickly cut a swath to the house....

I will say It was refreshing to open the drivers dor on the 300D and see the instrument cluster on the passenger seat....I thought hey I have 5 minutes I'll put that sucker back in....only took about 2 minutes. I have high hopes of getting this car sorted and equppied with a two tank waste oil system & espar or equivalent heating. My wife said if I got the AC working I would be a hero in my kids eyes.....None of our cars have functional AC....I keep saying....It's almost ski season....regards!

just don't "hold your breath" or you'll be skeletal remains at my pace (somewhat akin to a 240D towing a tandem axle trailer filled with fire wood up a long steep hill)
