Fuel Filters

Hi all,

MB, 1986, 190D.

I need to replace the primary and secondary fuel filters. I can't find the secondary anywhere and don't know where exactly to look.

The primary filter is tightly enclosed. Can anyone suggest a way to replace this filter?

Thanks,
Ed

fuel filters

autozone/napa/kragen.....

they should all have your filters..the primary being the small clear one...and the secondary spin on...

get the proper size wrench for the spin on and you will be fine...

I guess I didn't phrase my question properly.

I already purchased the replacement filters.

I know where the primary filter is located under the hood. My question is, how do I remove it. It looks like an oil filter and I know how to change an oil filter. The fuel filter is in a very tight spot.

Loosen the bolt on top, in the center.
