84 300 TD sp grey market

I decided to sell my recently acquired above average 81 300 TD to pick up an 84 300 TD 4 speed non turbo grey market car from a friend. It has some rough areas but the price was right and the extra cash from selling the 81 was much needed. The condition better fits my lifestyle and my needs of a vehicle. I am really liking the 4 speed and it has plenty of pep. Pretty cool green cloth interior. Front seats need some work and I may look for some nice seat covers. It has a roll away rear cover area and a net type thing that pulls out as well. It will attach to different locations depending on if the seats are folded or not.

Some photos if you want:

No comments about the rust, I know it is there. I may work on the hatch some and the passenger side floor pan needs attention.

There is a control just to the left of the steering column, below the instrument panel that my 81 didn't have. The knob is missing. Is this a cold start advance/ idle control?

Anyone know what kind of owners manual came with the grey market cars?

idle control knob

Should be an idle control knob there on the left. It is a 3 liter non turbo right? That is a nice car.
