Here is my 1975 240d
Still need to get some better pictures. BYW, how do I get the picture to post in its original size and not as a thumbnail? Also you photo seems large and the quality nice. I have to crop and resize and take the pic in the lowest setting just to get it to accept it. Chris

Of course
Of course W114s count. I love my 300D, awesome to drive, and everyone thinks its pretty cool. I drove a W123 before, and the W115 definitely is more old school.
Also Al I used AUTOGLYM wax, I ordered from your home turf, real good stuff!

Um, deadlyb, your links don't work, it looks like they link to your email account...
diametrical...I didn't know you had two W115's the same color. Nice! Kinda makes me want a W115 300D now ![]() Anyway, here's my Katja and the Corgi, the silver Euro '74 240D mascot.... (BTW Katja was factory silver with blue interior, and was repainted blue somewhere along the way) I fell in love with the W115 series when I was about 7 years old...so it really has been a dream come true to finally own the full-size version ![]() -AC

Actually the cars are not the same color. The 240D is white and the 300D is kinda white-cream color. I would say an Ivory color? I wish it was a keeper though because of the floorpan rust. The trunk looks like it's full of Fruity Pebbles!

My 1974 240D (Mecha) is a pleasure to drive if you're not in a hurry. Great for country roads like around here. Don't enjoy much taking her on the Interstate. It was my first MB diesel and I found it in a barn. Was a one owner car, with less than 90K miles on it.
