Driveshaft parts
My car has 250k miles and I have no idea if the driveshaft parts have ever been replaced.
Should I just buy all the parts below and replace them all or should I inspect them and replace only parts that look like they need replacing? 1264100215 F/R flex disc kit $49.95 1234101081 center support $15.50 0039812325 driveshaft center bearing $16.37 115410032 driveshaft bushing F/R $16.57 2024110497 center support boot $4.95 0039978347 differential oil seal 2 needed $6.76

Flex discs for sure. The others are not as easy to replace and won't cause as much damage if they suddenly break. For those, I'd replace them based on an inspection.
I had a flex disc break on my wagon. Lucky it was at a slow speed and did minimal damage. |

I had a flex plate break on a 1976 240D and it didn;t do any damage,,, now I'm gonna start a new thread, but before I do so,,, does your drivetrain make any strange noises? I would inspect but only replace what's obviously bad, no sense in fixin' something that ain't broke.
