I need a couple of small o-rings for R134a gauges...anyone?

My gauge set blew a seal and it is smaller than any of the green (HNBR) o-rings I have in stock. The ID looks to be 3-4mm and the OD is 6mm, so does anyone have a couple of these mini-rings in the material compatible with PAG oil they can spare/sell?

You could probably get them quicker going to the parts store. The set of the 134 o-rings I bought last summer did not have anything that small. Sorry.

I never knew the Big Box stores carried those green, PAG compatible o-rings.

Yeah, that's the problem, I have black ones that will fit, sort of (they are 1/4" OD X 1/8" ID) but they aren't compatible with the oil and disintegrate over time.

Just this past week I purchased a box of assorted sized O rings from Autozone that are compatable with R134a and R12 for about $3-$4.

So a penguin pulls up to a repair shop with steam coming out of the hood of his car.
He leaves it with the mechanic, and goes for a walk..
While on the walk, he stops for an ice-cream, getting it all over his face when he eats it.
A little while goes by, and he returns to the shop, to check on his car..
The mechanic, comes out, and says to him:

"Looks like you blew a seal"

the penguin replies

"No that's just ice-cream.."

For the average DIY'r you can get 100 of the black o-rings, use them once and throw them away, and still have a lifetime supply. All for roughly 2c a ring.

So, why do you need green o-rings again???

Because I put a black one in and it was deteriorating after one use. All of the rings in the gauge are green so I was trying to replace it with a proper green one.
