FYI on Delvac 1

I saw it for the first time ever at my local Autozoo, I mean zone. Anyway they had a bunch and it was $6 a quart so the price was fair. The dealer also seems to be stocking it again as well, but they are charging $30 a gallon all of a sudden! They used to be so cheap, oh well guess they caught on.

I really hate going to Wally World. We will see how broke I am next time it needs another oil change. I'll pay a few extra bucks to avoid that place. Autozoo was bad enough, if money wasn't an issue I'd just buy it from the dealer. My tolarence of idiots is wearing rather thin at the moment.

I agree, I get mine from autozone too. Plus they have the rewards program, every $20+ spent is a credit towards a free $20 reward. It pays off when you try to only spend $25 or less each time you go.

You couldn't buy Mobil-1 or Delvac-1 for $11.75 per gallon.........no matter where you shopped.

Those big bottles they sell aren't quite 5 quarts. They are more like 4 or 4.5 quarts. I did the comparison when I purchased mine the other day.

Um, it says right on the bottle, 5 us quarts. there are graduations for each quart, and it always fills up my 350 that takes 5 quarts.
I trust the bottle. I am sure there would be some major flack if there was not 5 quarts in it.

I buy mine at Autozone too.... 3 quarts + 1 small item to get the total just barely over $20, then get a swipe on the rewards card... Did that enought times that I just recently bought 4 quarts of the Mobil 1 (Delvac 1) and only paid $5.25 for it total!! Gotta love those rewards programs..

You must have bought the 5W-30 stuff, I have the 5W-40 stuff in my trunk right now, I took a look at it and it clearly says 4 quarts.

He's right, 4 quarts........... It's no deal when you compare it to AutoZone in quarts (easier to handle) with the rewards system..... for almost the same price..... ($24/gal at Autozone vs $22.?? at Walmart....)
