The orginal version of this FAQ (the one that appear on the old Easley/Ritter site) maintained that you had to drop the tranny unless you were doing the job in a 126. I have no person experience in this job, but I very definitely remember this point. I can't find that FAQ on the net at the moment, but I'm sure I have it archived somewhere. If you're interested, let me know and I'll try to find it.
