I have searched quite a bit, and while I see several threads suggesting dish soap as a degreaser during a coolant flush, I cannot find one that suggests how MUCH to use. Any thoughts? I have already flushed my system of all (or most, anyway) coolant and am running water now, FWIW.

Apologies in advance if I have glossed over said information during my search!

I think tide is the preferred detergent.
dish soap may work, but laundry degreasing is best.

If you're going dish soap, use dishwasher soap.
Non-sudsing is what you want.

You successfully De-grease ...Use the recommended citric acid flush to help
remove mineral scale.

I have that too... I just saw that a 2-step procedure is recommended by many, so I just needed to know how much detergent to use.

I've heard this brew also, never done it. Take out thermostat, idle for a little while, let cool, drain flush with water.
