Hmmmmm.......good point. Of course, I didn't think of that. Time to source a whole monovalve.

So.....did these things operate better when new? Is this a manufacturing defect in the repair kits?

Test Drive results

Okay, Brian, and others. The results are clear. It's 2 miles from my house to the gym, and I had to adjust the temperature setting making it warmer in each direction this morning. The 300SDL AC is ready for a road trip !!!

The curiosity would be the vent temperature in economy mode after the vehicle fully warms up as compared to the ambient temperature.

If the monovalve is leaking slightly, the vent temperature will be slightly above ambient.
